Hourly roadside pricing
Most government roadside lots display an hourly rate or tiered schedule tied to the segment. Taipei Parking reads open data and shows the current hourly label on markers when rules apply to your filter (car, scooter, etc.).

Daily caps and monthly passes
Some segments use progressive charging—additional hours at higher NT$ rates until a daily cap. Monthly or resident permits are handled by city programs, not by map apps; always read on-street signage.

How districts differ
- Xinyi / 101: high demand; compare nearby blocks instead of the first garage sign
- Da’an & Zhongxiao: dense retail; filter out full lots before you detour
- Wanhua / Ximending: evening spikes; check night-market guide
- Neihu & Nangang: office peaks weekday mornings
